Yes, we recommend using a lapel microphone to capture your conversations as clearly as possible. We recommend the RODE lapel mic, plus a USB to USB-C charging cable to charge it from your computer.
No. As we’re not recording any audio, only transcribing it, that means no audio files are stored on our system, maintaining GDPR compliance. If patients ask, you can let them know that you’re simply transcribing the conversation. If a patient is uncomfortable, you can use Chairsyde as a dictation tool after your consultation instead.
