No. Scribe transcribes the conversation rather than recording it, so no audio is stored on our system, which keeps it GDPR compliant. If a patient prefers, you can use Scribe as a dictation tool after the consultation instead.

Yes. We recommend a lapel microphone to capture the conversation clearly, such as the RODE lapel mic, along with a USB-C cable to charge it from your computer.

Your notes are stored securely on Amazon Web Services in your practice’s region, meeting ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 and 9001 standards. Transcription notes are kept for 11 years and accessible at any time.

Yes. You can review every generated note after a consultation and make any edits before saving it to your records.

Scribe integrates with Dentally and SOE Exact, living as a widget inside your practice management software. If you use a different system, Scribe is cloud-based, so you can run it in a separate browser without losing any function.
