Uptake turns unbooked plans into treated patients and realised lost revenue.

Uptake reads your treatment plans, shows every unbooked patient a clinician-led animation of what their dentist has planned, and books them in. You don’t pay a penny until we’ve claimed back £12k of lost revenue.

Live within 24 hours. No dentist training. Nothing changes in surgery.

Every £ claimed carries its evidence. Click any figure and see why.

Three pilot practices · £56k of lost treatment won back, in weeks

£35,000 in 6 weeks · 5.8× the fee Five implant cases with no next appointment booked back in, plus a run of composites and crowns. The founder’s own practice.
£13,100 in 4 weeks · 2.2× the fee Accepted composite and onlay plans the practice had already written off. Nothing changed in the building.
£7,900 in 3 weeks · 1.3× the fee Six composites and one aligner case. Neither the TCO nor the principal touched it. Our smallest result so far.

What’s changed

UK dentistry has gone private.

2025 Private general dentistry drew level with the NHS: £4.14bn each. From here it pulls away.
£8.0bn Private general and cosmetic by 2029, against £4.6bn for the NHS.
Bought Owners used to be handed an NHS contract. Today they buy at a premium and have to grow to pay it back.

Growth now depends on what happens after the patient leaves the chair.

Winners and losers

We see two kinds of practice.

The leaky bucket

  • Six figures a year on implant open days, Invisalign events and Meta ads
  • New patients arrive and leak out of the same hole
  • Plans get written, then never booked

The communication-led practice

  • A TCO and a culture of explaining treatment properly
  • Grows from the patients it already has
  • Pushes the mix towards implants, ortho and cosmetic

Even the second kind hits a human ceiling. Which one are you?

The unscheduled report

You don’t need more new patients. You need the ones you’ve got to say yes.

There is money in your unscheduled treatment report. You’ve probably never totalled it, because you already know you can’t get to it. Reception has a queue. Associates won’t chase. A good TCO costs £35k to £50k loaded, works one diary in office hours, and leaves.

1
The £6k implant plan that walked out. They said yes in the chair. Nobody followed up. They’re at the practice down the road, or their condition has worsened.
2
The patient who nodded, didn’t understand, and forgot. They left the room, couldn’t explain it to their partner, and it quietly dropped off their list.
3
A full diary, busy with the wrong things.Check-ups and emergencies fill the day while the implants, aligners and crowns your associates planned sit unbooked.
4
You’ve bought software nobody used.Recall SMS, a CRM, a WhatsApp template. All depended on someone in the building doing something extra. All faded.

How it works

A treatment coordinator, built as software.

Plug in the Dentally API and it runs. Nothing extra for your team, in your practice’s name, every hour.

01 · READS

Finds the accepted treatment with no appointment

Connects to your treatment plans through the Dentally API and reads who planned what, for whom, and what was never booked.

02 · EXPLAINS

Explains the plan in the dentist’s name

Each patient gets a clinician-led explanation of their own treatment, with Chairsyde’s clinical animation: the what, the why, and what happens if they wait.

03 · BRINGS BACK

Patients who understand say yes

They book. The dashboard attributes the revenue to the patient, the clinician and the treatment, with the evidence beside every pound.

04 · LOOKS AFTER

Looks after everyone who’s booked

Plan summaries before they arrive, aftercare after extraction, implant and ortho. Then the lapsed, and the next plan.

Core · live today Convert Book what the dentist has already planned. Implant, ortho, cosmetic, whitening, composites, crowns, perio, hygiene.
Core Care Plan summaries before they arrive, post-op aftercare and OHI advice, a welcome pack for every new patient.
Concierge · by invitation Continue Lapsed patients reactivated with education, NHS and private patients to plan, promotions in your name. Our team works the list.

From practice owners

What the first practices found.

“I felt physically sick knowing how much I had in unbooked treatments sitting there. Uptake realised a chunk of these with beautiful, education-based content that converts. I saw £34k in my first 2 months. No brainer.”
Dr Chandni PatelPractice Owner, Chiswick Dental
“I love how the follow-ups are educational, to help patients make informed decisions, getting them to book in the right way.”
Dr James BluntBlunt Dental
“It can take up to 2 months, but it’s unreal how much money we thought we’d left on the table, and patients who needed treatment couldn’t get booked back in. Uptake helps with that.”

What counts toward the £12k

You only pay for bookings Uptake earned.

If we messaged a patient about a plan and they booked within 90 days, it counts, whichever channel they booked through. Plans too fresh to need us, and patients who never engaged, don’t. Every counted booking carries its evidence, next to your own pre-Uptake baseline.

Who it’s for

Built for owners who want to grow. Honest about who it isn’t for, yet.

We only take a few practices in each area, because the patients we book are the ones your neighbours want. Saying no to the wrong fit is what keeps the guarantee safe.
